BetterQs is not medical advice.
BetterQs is a tool to help you prepare for medical appointments — it does not diagnose conditions, recommend treatments, or replace the professional judgment of a licensed healthcare provider. Nothing in the application constitutes medical, clinical, or diagnostic advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making any health-related decision. In an emergency, call your local emergency number immediately.
1. Description of service
BetterQs is a patient-preparation application that helps users organize symptoms, generate appointment questions, and share visit briefs with caregivers or clinicians. The service is currently in a demo / pre-production phase and is provided for evaluation purposes only.
Features, data retention, and availability may change without notice during the demo phase. Do not use this demo to manage real protected health information without a separate production agreement.
2. No medical advice
The content generated by BetterQs — including AI-suggested questions, symptom summaries, and visit briefs — is informational only. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. BetterQs does not practice medicine or any other regulated health profession.
Reliance on any information provided by BetterQs is solely at your own risk. BetterQs expressly disclaims all liability for any health outcome resulting from reliance on the application.
3. Liability cap — demo phase
During the demo phase, BetterQs is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the total liability of BetterQs and its operators to any user for any claim arising out of or related to these terms or the service shall not exceed USD $0 (zero dollars) during the demo phase, since no fees are charged. In no event shall BetterQs be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
A production-phase liability and indemnification agreement will replace this section prior to any paid or HIPAA-covered deployment.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use BetterQs to enter false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
- Attempt to access another user's data without authorization.
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract data from the service at scale.
- Use the service in any way that violates applicable law.
5. Privacy
Your use of BetterQs is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference.
6. Governing law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Jurisdiction TBD], without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from these terms will be resolved in the courts of [Jurisdiction TBD].
Governing law will be finalized before production launch based on the operating entity's place of incorporation.
7. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
